Chard is the son of Thor Odinson and Jane Foster from Marvel's Thor, movie!verse. He is twenty five years old and works for the SCP Foundation, a group dedicated to protecting the world from horrific supernatural threats and keeping the general population as oblivious to that as possible. It's a job he's good at, given heroics and intelligence run in the family.

Though he seems cold, calculating and unemotional, Chard actually suffers from Depersonalization Disorder coupled with Derealization Disorder. He's very much a good guy and joined the SCP Foundation to help people. He can be highly snarky, but otherwise is just really unable to express anything no matter how loud it gets in his head. Life in general has made him prone to express occasional total breakdowns given the combined pressure of his illnesses and his job, but except for those rare moments, he is almost unnervingly determined to keep going. He fights with SCP Foundation to save the world, the universe and the multiverse, and just wishes he wasn't so broken mentally. He only wants to help people.

Like most sufferers of DPD and DD, he was born with them rather than acquiring them; his parents were in no way fanfic cliches or abusive. They were and are awesome and he's very fond of them. He wishes he were more of a warrior like his father, but it's an admiration thing. He regrets that he can't get home more often to spend time with his parents... and at the same time, he's very awkward around them. He wants to find a treatment that works before he spends lots of time with them.

Chard wants to be fixed. He doesn't want to have moments where he feels like he's not a person.

He wants to be a hero.
